Written test will be objective type multiple choice.

Section III (25 marks): Basics of the current AC poly-phase system and transformers, generators, AC motors, windings.
Section IV (25 marks): electric meter, conversion of AC, DC or rectification, elementary electronics, lighting or light, generation, transmission and distribution of electricity.
Section V (25 marks): Wire and cable, common household appliances, car electrics, wiring accessories and systems, safety precautions, and LE. Rules.
Section VI (25 marks): mental ability, and general knowledge: focus on Comprehensional reasoning, Venn diagrams, number series, coding and coding, problem solving techniques, instruction and final questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetic numbers series, non-verbal series, syllogistic logic, seating arrangements.
